Action Kids Classes – What to Expect
Expect to have some fun filled, quality time with your little one!
The Action Kids Academy Clubs are a great place to spend time with your little ones, doing lots of fun activities which help them to develop physically, personally, socially and emotionally.
With classes designed for babies, toddlers and young children up to 7 years, each 45 minute club session is carefully structured, so that the activities are progressive, developmental and most of all fun! Through music, action songs and story-telling, Action Kids offers each child the opportunity to join in and learn in the way they prefer. With an abundance of bright and exciting equipment such as beanies, scarves, puppets, musical instruments, a parachute and a bag brimming with balls of all shapes and sizes, the 45 minutes spent with Action Kids each week promises to have something for everyone to love and enjoy!
“Both Marco and me, look forward to our Action Kids time with great anticipation. The sessions are always full of brand new ideas, many of which we continue at home. The fun we have in the club is unforgettable.” Marco’s mum.
“Leon loved every minute of Action Kids, from the moment we set off from home, his little face beamed with excitement. He still remembers lots of the activities and we often creep around the room looking for the hungry bear and gallop away on our horse!” Leon’s mum.
You and your child’s first visit to Action Kids
It is important for both yourself and your child to enjoy the experience of our Action Kids Academy sessions. It can be quite daunting to walk into a new place for the very first time. New surroundings with new sounds, colours and activities are great fun, but a child (and an adult!) can often feel a little overwhelmed. Please don’t feel your child has to join in immediately. In many cases the children who spend their first session sitting at the side, watching, listening and taking it all in at their own pace often become some of the more confident members of the class. In order to gain maximum benefit and enjoyment we encourage parent/carer participation during the session, as much as you are able. In doing so, the bond between child and adult becomes stronger. This is also a very important method of building a child’s confidence. With joint participation, the activities are also easier to remember when repeating at home.
